With the idea to create the most beautiful cushions in the world, pairing the utmost luxurious Couture hand-embroidery with the simplicity of an everyday object, Anabela collaborated with her friend Mane Virdee to create these one-of-a-kind cushions.
With her own eponymous brand, Virdee gains her inspirations by sourcing her components within the labyrinth of the narrow lanes of Old Delhi, a centuries' old textile district in India's capital. Days are spent rummaging through forgotten shelves and drawers, pulling out sequins and beads, creating the story in the hustle and bustle of the markets.
